I have no firsthand experience at NAIA because my wife is from Cebu so I/we have always flown in and out of there. It seems to consistently be ranked amongst the worst airports in the world so I would think a focus on actually improving the infrastructure and passenger experience would be a better course of action. Changing the name isn’t going to change that.

The new terminal is quite nice. Our last trip through was good, NAIA is no better or worse than most U.S. airports... Roddy just needs to round up the "bullet scam bandits" .. even though I have not heard much on that as of late.

Agreed. I have been at NAIA a few times and while I have not been through any of the other terminals the new one isn't any better or worse than Chicago or Hong Kong are. One thing I did notice is things (such as a bottle of water for example) at NAIA seemed to be less expensive when compared to the price gouging in Hong Kong or Chicago. I thought I heard the bullet scam was only happening at the older terminals but I could be wrong.
