Nothing wrong with divorcees going to the USA. Divorce is not illegal there. The new president elect has had more divorces than I've had hot dinners.

How did you father get a green card? Did he divorce your mother to marry an American?

I-130 filed: February 5, 2016

NOA1: February 8, 2016 Nebraska

NOA2: July 21, 2016

Interview: December 6, 2016 London

POE: December 19, 2016 Las Vegas

N-400 filed: September 30, 2019

Interview: March 22, 2021 Seattle

Oath: March 22, 2021 COVID-style same-day oath

 

Now a US citizen!

        Hi guys. Happy New Years. So 2 days ago, my dad met a new lawyer and he told that lawyer what's happening on our case. He told my dad to write a letter to USCIS. I have a question here. Does it help us to get a quick USCIS decision? :(

Agreed. Chances are it's a total waste of time. But, since the OP gave zero information that would actually help us give him any decent answer it doesn't even matter. 

OP.. in all fairness, we don't read minds. The more detailed the question and information the better the answer. However, saying that, we don't need a life story either :)

Agreed,  unless dad got divorced and then re-married a USC for the implicit purpose of immigrating here nothing illegal..  Of course we are shooting in the dark here.  Only the Father knows what really happened and he hasn't admitted it yet.

Me: Irish/ Swiss citizen, and now naturalised US citizen. Husband: USC; twin babies born Feb 08 in Ireland and a daughter in Feb 2010 in Arkansas who are all joint Irish/ USC. Did DCF (IR1) in 6 weeks via the Dublin, Ireland embassy and now living in Arkansas.
