I would think so? You may want to get confirmation from another Phi filer, as I know there are some nuances associated with paperwork there.

You will get more detailed information about the Police documentation you need to provide as well as other documents needed for the interview after your I-129f is approved and sent off to the NVC and then Manila.

Forever wishing for an eye-roll reaction.

oh okay, bcoz i called the guam police department and they told me my fiance should be getting the police clearance not the certificate if she just want the proof that she didn't cause trouble in guam or did something bad.

Police Certificate and Police Clearance is the same right?

At some point from A - Z in this process you will need the following (so its best to just obtain it now as long as you have not REVISITED the country - it will not expire)

From the Philippines you will need the NBI Clearance.... you can apply here: https://nbi-clearance.com/

You will need police clearance from other places of residence in these circumstances:

From which countries does an applicant need a police certificate?

IF the applicant…

...is living in their country of nationality at their current residence for more than 6 months AND is 16 years old or older THEN obtain the clearance from the police authorities of that locality.

...lived in a different part of their country of nationality for more than 6 months AND was 16 years or older at that time THEN obtain the clearance from the police authorities of that locality.

...lived in a different country for more than 12 months AND was 16 years or older at that time THEN obtain the clearance from the police authorities of that locality.

...was arrested for any reason, regardless of how long they lived there AND was any age at that time THEN obtain the clearance from the police authorities of that locality.

SO IN THIS INSTANCE - you (or your fiance) is a resident of the Philippines - but has lived in GUAM for x number of months - I believe condition number 3 (third line) applies to you:

..lived in a different country for more than 12 months AND was 16 years or older at that time THEN obtain the clearance from the police authorities of that locality.

Was it 12 months or more that they lived in Guam?

she lived there for 8 months only. From June 2015 to Feb 2016. so that means she need to get police clearance in Guam?

Well - based on 8 months is less than 12 months or more - then I would claim that she would not need it.

Again - these are not my instructions - Im just spoon feeding what their requirements are on the website in the instructions. So if you go in for the interview and they are asking you for the police clearance from Guam - you may need to spoon feed them back their own requirements. If you search on this forum - you will find some folks had the unfortunate experience where the instructions said one thing... but the Officer doing the interview asks for something else - they had to remind them of the rules.

If money is not an issue - and you DO have the time since you are waiting for your approval - it wouldnt hurt to obtain it just in case. Is it required? Not according to the instructions. Will it be asked for? I claim it should not be... but....

And lastly ... as for the PH - you will need the NBI
