Income Support and loss of job.

I've been married for almost 5 years to my wife, and we've known each other since we were about 12 dating on and off in Nicaragua until we decided to seal the knot at around 19, but we lived together since we were 17. Anyways there enough evidence to show that our marriage is legitimate , even tho I'm not a huge picture taker. But my question is that if I were to loss my job which at this time is the way i'm supporting her on her visa, and were at the just waiting for a interview stage what will happen? Will everything just stop or would I be able to get a co-sponsor which I can quick? If I were to change jobs as well my income taxes from the past 3 years were not the 21,000 to support her even tho the ones from this years will ve more then 25-30k. I'm kinda lost here and very scared on the situation. Please let me know as my co-sponsor is on call.

If you loose your job, she can bring an updated I-864 and co-sponsor docs to the interview.

It is current and ongoing income that counts the most; if you can show several paystubs, and a letter from the employer stating the job is stable and long term at that salary, you should be fine.

Sounds good, I'll see if I can come up with those document's just in case it does happen, I'm hoping if she's already going to her visa interview and the updated I-864 is in the mail or such or I lost my job just the day before the interview. I'm hoping that the embassy can understand and wait a day or two for them to come in instead of just saying NO and have a nice Day it's been almost 5 year marriage. I hate for that to happen!
