HI

we are filling the I-131 Advanced Parole Form to go with the AOS papers. On Part 7 of the form it asks,

"on a separate sheet of paper, please explain how you qualify for an advanced parole document and what circumstances warrant issuance of advance parone. Include any documents you wish to consider"

now...if we want to file this so that in case something happens he can travel home, or if we want to go see his family what do we essentailly write?

What did others do?

did some of you not even file this?

We didn't file the AP because we have no plans for travel in the near future. We figured he should (fingers crossed) have his GC before the need to travel arises. If there is an emergency such as illness in the family, I've heard you can get emergency AP with an infopass appt. Thought we'd save the $170.
