Good morning Everyone, this is my latest update. My scan date is September 30, 2016. My 6 weeks was November 11, 2016. I was told that my case is in supervisor's review AND my DS260 has been downloaded and it is in REVIEW as we speak. Waiting like everyone else for a Case Complete has been a living nightmare. Let's all pray together that we will have an answer that we all want to hear any day now and nothing beyond this Friday November 18, 2016. Good luck to us all once again.

The question that I have no answer yet is that What does the NVC do when they receive the AOS and IV documents?

They might just put it on the shelf waiting 4-8 weeks until its scan priority date comes

OR

They open it and do an initial review and update their system accordingly

OR

It get distributed to certain regional review groups and processed according to that region waiting line

Does any one notices any changes in their online CEAC summary page IMMEDIATELY following the NVC receipt of their documents?

Are you asking what do they do if they receive the documents but haven't received the fees/DS-260? Or are you asking after the scan date what do they do until it gets reviewed?

I had asked them if I was able to send them the AOS/IV documents prior to filling out the DS-260. They said we could send them in and they would receive them, but they wouldn't scan them/start the reviewing process until it was all done.

As far as what happens over the 6 weeks where everyone is waiting, the best answer I've gotten is that they are basically just sitting around waiting to be "called" by an employee to review. I think once they actually start reviewing a case it doesn't take longer than maybe a day or two, if that. So most of the time is just spent doing nothing. When I called yesterday they specifically said they were waiting for the supervisor to request the documents, which hadn't been done yet. So I assume that means they are sitting on a desk or something collecting dust.

It's look like every case go to supervisor review these days.

I feel like eventually if it keeps up they should just start telling people that instead of 6 weeks, the average right now is longer. Maybe it just goes in waves so they assume it will get better soon.

Sorry, my question is that after they receive everything including the DS-260. Collecting dust is what I think happened. Thank you

Ya I agree. Everytime I try to get info out of the people it basically sounds like the document is just sitting there. I've asked a few times "Is there a queue? Any way to know what number it is in the queue?" and they say no. Maybe it is assigned to some group, but either way it is sitting there until someone calls for it.
