Please how long does it take to for 221(g) get to USA before getting to me am frustrated, please please I need and if possible a lawyer am confused

How long does it take the ghana embassy to transfer my documents to USCIS before they review it, am will be much grateful to hear from u thank you

I am so sorry to hear this. Ghana is a very tough embassy to battle. Unfortunately it could be up to 6 months before they send your paperwork back to the USCIS, then expect another 6 months for them to make a decision. An attorney won't be able to help much, but I would suggest contacting your local Senator or Congressman.

Also I would suggest starting a new post away from this feed. That way others will see it and can provide you some more insight.

Please do you know any website for me to start with as you mentioned in letter

I don't mean posting on another website. I meant start a new post on this site. Right now you're posting on a feed that's for those of us trying to get through the NVC portion of the process. If you start a new post all the responses will be for you and to assist you.

Scan date is October 13th. With thanksgiving I am hoping my case complete by end of the month. NVC needs to hire more workers.

Based on other's people's experience I would say Mid-December is a better bet. You can always been lucky though. I think I've seen one person post with a CC in <4 weeks.

Scan date Oct 19. My 6 weeks end on Nov 30. Hope to get Case completed soon.

And yes....NVC needs to hire more people. This process is ridiculously slow.

My husband called NVC today and was told him that he can see progress and that by end of this week we will get some news.

as my scan date was Sept 22nd and file was sent for supervisor review on Nov 4th.

Anyone was told same thing? is that mean CC will be this week ,,????

We also called today, and have been told that our file has not been touched yet and the same thing again the supervisor review can take 6 weeks. and that it depends who is reviewing the file. so at least they see progress in your file :)

Proof of relationship is only needed if you have a household member of a (joint) sponsor filing an I-864A - those people must prove they are related to the (joint) sponsor by sending a marriage certificate, birth certificate, etc.

thanks alot that was so helpful

Hey guys, i see lots of you talking about 3rd N/A but i dont get it, what is it and where i can find it ? And what about 1st and 2nd N/A ?

On your summary information page when you log in to CEAC.

The 1st NA is gonna be under this:

"Affidavit of Support Documents & Financial Evidence"

The 2nd NA is gonna be under this:

"Civil Documents"

The 3rd NA is supposedly gonna show up under:

"Affidavit of Support Fee"

And supposedly it does not show up for those who filed electronically. I don't have mine yet, was told hopefully by the end of the week... scan date Sept 30th, 6 weeks ended on Friday Nov 11th. Was put on supervisor review as of monday morning - the 14th, at 7am-ish.

I am calling them every day. If there's nothing by the end of this week, time to resort to USCIS tactics - file ombudsman complaints, send letters to senators and congressmen, etc.. I've started this process in January and it looks like my wife will not be here in time for the holidays. Thank you DACA for grinding everything to a halt...
