Checking in! Still waiting for a case number to be assigned. Our case was received on Friday, October 21st, so we should have news by the end of this week! Good luck everyone :) I'm hoping and praying that NVC starts speeding up again so we can start to see some CC's earlier than 6+ weeks and without the need to be put on supervisor review!

Hi Everyone, I just joined the forum. I waited 6 weeks for NVC to process my application. Called last night, I was told I had to wait until midnight EST yesterday . Since that's end of the 6wks. I called this morning, told that a supervisor will review why the case hasn't been processed. I asked when I should check back. I was told supervisor has up to 6 weeks to review. Any Advice? Thanks

I paid the AOS fee on Saturday and it's still showing in process. It came out of my bank account over night. How long until IV invoice is up? I was hoping to get that paid and form 260 submitted by Friday, but it's not looking likely at this point. Choice of agent shows completed at least.

Unfortunately that is the same situation that almost everyone has been in recently. It seems that most people have been receiving news within one week of being put on supervisor review, though! So keep your chin up. All you can do at this point is wait. I hope you have your case complete soon!!

Hello everyone, do i need to translate any documents that I'm sending to nvc

Only documents that are not in the native language of the embassy where the interview is being held.

For example, I have a police certificate from Germany because I lived there for many years. Because German is not an official language of the UK (which is where I am interviewing), I had to send a translation also. However, if my interview were in Germany, I would not need to have a German police certificate translated.

Timeline in brief:

Married: September 27, 2014

I-130 filed: February 5, 2016

NOA1: February 8, 2016 Nebraska

NOA2: July 21, 2016

Interview: December 6, 2016 London

POE: December 19, 2016 Las Vegas

N-400 filed: September 30, 2019

Interview: March 22, 2021 Seattle

Oath: March 22, 2021 COVID-style same-day oath

Now a US citizen!
