Which consulate will you be interviewing at?

Lima, Peru

CR-1 Time lime Peru to Miami! Currently living in Peru with my husband.

I'm Cuban-American Husband is Peruvian

9/13/15- met my husband while I was working here as a Nurse

11/29/15- He proposed! :luv:

12/19/15- Our civil wedding (excited to have our religious ceremony with family in the US) :wub:

3/7/16- Sent our packet

3/11/16- NOA 1

Lots of impatient waiting! :bonk:

7/22/16- NOA 2 (I could not beleive my eyes!)

8/1/16- Case sent to NVC

8/12/16- NVC received (I had to call to get supervisor to send welcome letter)

8/19/16- was when I called NVC to figure out if they received it

8/22/16- Received case number

8/23/16- Paid AOS

8/26/16- DS-261

9/1/16- Paid IV

9/6/16- DS-260

9/8/16- sent both packets

9/9/16- NVC received

9/12/16- NVC scanned

10/11/16- Received false checklist DS260 missing- they said it was mistake

10/25/16-Supervisor review

11/1/16-Expedite approved when documentarily complete

11/10/16-Checklist-we pleaded with consulate to just accept our case and review missing documents diring interview

11/16/16- Case Complete and sent to consulate- Finally- this was the most exhausting wait :dead:

11/23/16- Interview date received :dance:

1/4/17- Interview not before christmas but at least we got one!

0/0/17- Visa received

0/0/17- POE fee paid

0/0/17- Travel to US POE Miami

0/0/17- SS# received

0/0/17- Greencard received

In the home stretch!!! :dancing:

Petition Sent to NVC: 17-October-2016 17 days for petition to be sent to NVC
NVC Received: 21-October-2016 4 days to be received at NVC
NVC Case Number Assigned: 31-October-2016 10 days for case number to be assigned
NVC Welcome Letter Received: 3-November-2016 @ 12:10 AM 3 days from case number assigned until Welcome Letter received and invoices unlocked
IV and AOS Fees Unlocked: 3-November-2016 @ 7:00 AM
IV and AOS Fees Paid: 3-November-2016
DS-260 Unlocked: 7-November-2016 2.5 business days for DS-260 to be unlocked
DS-260 Submitted: 8-November-2016
AOS and IV Documents Sent: 9-November-2016

Interview: 21-February-2017   We scheduled our own interview because we had an approved medical expedite with the consulate. By sheer luck we got such a quick interview date because someone cancelled their appointment less than 20 minutes prior
Interview Result: Approved!!
Visa Issued: 21-February-2017     Visa issued same day as interview
DHL tracking information received: 22-February-2017     DHL tracking number appeared 28 hours after interview, scheduled for delivery the next day
Visa in hand: 23-Feb-2017
US POE (Minneapolis): 26-Feb-2017

Congratulations !

Got a my 3rd N/A just now!

My wait was 7 weeks and 5days; supervisor review for 1 week and 5 days. September 20 scan date.

Hopefully more of you guys will be getting CC this week too. :)

Congratulations!

Scan date : September 23

Supervisor review: November 4

Case complete: November 18

Received interview email: December 1

Interview date: January 5 2017- APPROVED

My understanding is that they sort the cases based on geographic location. So, is there anyone here waiting from Saudi Arabia or the Middle East? My 8 weeks start tomorrow and still no CC. Want know if others from the same area are also waiting and how long they have had to wait.

Ya others have suggested that, though it seems weird since at the NVC stage everything is being reviewed within the United States. But I guess maybe they would still divide it up?

My wife is from the UK. I think the people on here from the UK have been waiting around 6-8 weeks on average it seems.

I would say right now generally think "the regular 6 weeks", not 4-6. I think I've seen 1 person in the last several months get it quicker.

My hubby is coming from Austria...we are at 8 weeks now and still no CC :(

-July 2015- my cousin from Romania introduced us via facebook(he is from Romania, moved to Austria 5 years ago, my fam is from Romania)

-September 2015-first time meeting in person

-December 2015-went to meet his fam in Austria, got engaged

-February 12 2016-had my civil marriage in Austria, my parents went with me

-April 2016- went to spend my birthday with him in Austria/Romania

-September 2016- went to Romania together for one month

My scan date is Nov 8 for Saudi Arabia but I have a long wait remaining.. Wish there was a way to speed this up so I can bring my mom here before the end of the year.

My husband is undergoing surgery soon. It would help for my mom to be here to help me with the kids so I can take care of my husband. Any advice anyone?
