So let me get this straight, the US embassy all over the world would send out their available interview slot to NVC at the last week of the month? so that means my local embassy has just send out the available slot in the week of 28th November to 2nd December?

They should be scheduling this week.

They do the scheduling in the last week of the month and the first days of the following month. This time they will be doing the January appointments.

If the embassy has a long waiting list for appointments you might have to wait a few months for an appointment to be made for you.

You can get an idea of the wait times by looking at the case complete to interview spreadsheet that dwheels76 maintains.

The embassies usually start towards the end of the month and fill available slots until there is either no more interview slots available or they have nobody to fill the interview slots so they continue filling slots as soon as someone case completes. So there isn't an exact date that they start or stop just a timeframe of when they start.

You can wait for the letter or give NVC a call to find out if you have an interview date scheduled.

My husband's interview was Scheduled July 26th, but the letter came August 9th.
