Thanks for the comments.

I called the doctors office today, and they said that I need to wait for the interview date and invitation letter, so no chance of me getting this taken care of ahead of time.

Sorry, I answered "yes" thinking you already had your interview scheduled and wanted to know if you can schedule your medical before your case is sent to the embassy. Edited by MrsBurgz

Hi All,

Something that's been bothering me lately...

When it says to take "Original Documents" to the interview, for CR1, does that include all of your petitioners financial documents that you send scans of to NVC (transcripts, tax returns)???

Feeling a little confused and don't want to get this wrong...!

Mine is a work EB3, and the lawyers sent the petitioners original financial documents to me by FedEx.

If you have your NVC case number, can you schedule the medical examination with that, ahead of the package arriving at the Consulate?

Hi there! I am unsure about the Joburg panel physician but my husband has his appointment scheduled for the Cape Town panel physician in two weeks and this is one of the things they require:

Letter of appointment listing the Case no. & Visa Category eg JHN 2014……../ K1/K2 visa category

With South Africa, Johannesburg; they always require your interview letter (P4) but I am not sure with Cape Town. Maybe if you call them and explain why you need to do that, maybe they will try to give you a try. Also according to their requirements, you must do your medical checkups 3 weeks before your visa interview date.

Here is the contact details for approved Panel Physicians

Johannesburg:

Dr. Junaid Hoosen 011 783 7320

Suite 108 Medical Mews, 64 Rivonia Road, Sandton City, 2196

(Estimated waiting time, including vaccinations - up to 3 hours)

Cape Town:

Dr. Marcus Brauer 021 419-1888

Suite 207, Level 2

Clock Tower Office Suites, V&A Waterfront

Yes! I always look at the pictures on 'visa interviews today' to see if I recognise anyone.

In less than 2 weeks my Union Jack Hello Kitty picture will be on there!

Guys,

Could you please tell me, if the birth certificate is Italian in Italian language, do we need to translate it into English? The interview is going to be in Italy. For NVC it was fine without translation

No but you do need to take the original to the interview, not a photocopy.

As the interview is in Italy, a birth certificate in Italian doesn't need to be translated.
