12/14 Met at work in Rwanda

2/21/15 Became a couple

11/19/15 Married

11/23/15 I left Rwanda 

12/30/15 Mailed I-130

1/06/16 NOA1

5/03/16 NOA2!

5/06/16 NVC received case

5/20/16 Case number assigned

5/23/16 Email from NVC with case number

5/23/16 Choice of Agent filled out, AOS fee invoiced and paid

5/31/16 Called NVC, reviewed I-261 over the phone

6/02/16 IV bill invoiced and paid

7/28/16 Finally! All police clearances and birth certificate received; mailed IV and AOS; filed I-260

8/04/16 Official scan date (tracking shows "delivered" the day before)

8/15/16 Visiting my husband! 10 days

9/01/16 Received checklist in error, claiming our application was on hold because of a waiver application we never filed

9/02/16 Sent for supervisor review, six week timeframe given

9/13/16 Sent for "document review", whatever that is, told the timeframe is now indefinite

9/20/16 Contacted US Representative Adam Smith's office for assistance (WA)

9/26/16 3 N/As and Case Complete!

11/14/16 Interview: approved pending medical! (Vaccines hadn't been available)

11/19/16 Visa received in passport

12/09/16 POE Seattle

03/06/17 Green card received (address changed after POE, no problem)

5/2017 Our baby is due

Not that I can remember! So feeling a little nervous!

Youll be fine. It would sting a bit but not that bad. If you tried vaccines before almost the same but no pain after the needle goes in.

@JFH - My wife did her medical when she had a cold and it was fine. The only thing I think it could affect would be the X-ray if it were to develop into bronchitis or if they couldn't do any vaccines because of your immune system (they still did the vaccines for my wife). I'm sure you'll be fine! Stress will only make it harder to get better :)

In other news, my wife's visa packet was received with a rip so she mailed it back to the embassy last week and they received it today (thanks three day weekend..). Anyone know how long it takes on average for it to be repackaged?

Hope youll be fine by then, drink a lot of water. I still have cold and an asthma a week before I went for medical so far I havent heard from them say they will call if there is something wrong. So dont want to hear nothing from them.

Folks who changed their addresses with USCIS after receiving their Visas and before their entry to the US. Is okay to not change my wife's address to the new one I just moved in, knowing that I have full access to the old mailbox. Or do I have to change it to the new one. I just moved in and I don't want USCIS to take too long to change it in their system or that it get lost. Please advise.

Good morning all,

Our case was complete on 10/28/2016 and received the letter stating that we are in queue for an interview. Today is November 14th and no interview date yet. I plan to call NVC today to see if they have an interview date, yet, with the Us Embassy in Tirana, Albania :(

I wish GOOD LUCK to anyone with Case Complete waiting for an interview, and staying positive that we wil get one soon and be together for the end of yer celebrations.

Any feedback as to when may the interview be, feel free to reply.

You might get an interview date ate the end of the month, that's when usually NVC start scheduling interviews. Good luck
