Case Complete to Interview December 2016

My husband moved to NJ recently due to work and we have informed USCIS about it.Since I am in the interview stage now and files were in transit. Should I call NVC still about the address changed or just mention it during interview. I read different opinions just want to know what u think.

My husband's interview is tomorrow and we are DYING. I used to read posts from people who were so anxious about the interview being within a couple of days and I thought, it's all over basically, they shouldn't be anxious... I'm still here waiting for CC! Well, I get it now! I just keep going over it and over it in my mind... did I make any mistakes or leave anything out? Thank you!!! Going to call first thing Monday to schedule the medical in Cape Town. Crud, I didn't realize that sputum was required - I thought it was only the xrays. Praying for fast results for you!!

Sputum test is required when they see something on xray. Otherwise no ylthey don't do it. Anything seen as irregular during xray they will do sputum.

Too late to call NVC. You will tell CO at interview to update and they will update the DS-260. And also verify at POE the info is corrected.

That address is the most important since that's where greencard will be mailed.

No he only took my passport and checked something on computer and told me to get back after 21 buisness days if I didn't get my SSN till then he can't issue me a duplicate and he also has to see if any SSN was being issued to me then.

You need to go back today and fill out application. When you went to the office ypu weren't in system you should have filled out application then.

So do that today and card should come within 2 weeks. Sorry you been waiting so long.

This is it JFH getting closer and closer. Is there a possibility that consulate would actually change your interview date set by NVC on an earlier date? Just a thought.

You can always request. There's a example email on 1st thread.

Some embassies no issues like London, Sydney but you have to ask.

When did you go to the SS office? What did they say? How often do you call to get updates?

Went on 7th. And she went ahead and filled out an application for me saying there was no SSN assigned to my name and nothing was pending during my visa and this happens. 1 week over this will be the second week. She gave me a receipt in case I didn't get one to come back after 2weeks. I never called them. Didn't know I could ask for updates. ? I don't know what to do.

My hubby had his interview today in ciudad juarez and he was APPROVED!!! ???????? He was asked from where he crossed the boarder, how many years we have been married, how many kids we have and their ages, and if he had any problems with the police in either mexico or the us. He said it was really fast and the man doing the interview was very kind! My question now is because he had a friday interview that means we will have to wait till next week to expect his visa package at the dhl... correct? Any body have any ideas about how long it takes on average in Juarez for it to be ready for pick up? Thanks!! ?

I did some Googling about it and it seems a lot of people have had them where they have changed from CR-1 to IR-1 during the process. That is the case for us. When we started this whole thing we hadn't been married for 2 years yet but we had our second wedding anniversary in September while our file was under review at NVC. I did notice that CEAC has changed from CR-1 to IR-1 for us.

Are you in the same situation?

No, thats not my case tho, mine still cr-1
