So, as NVC will be closed tomorrow, I thought I'd just get in a quick call this evening as it will be 7 days since CC tomorrow. Wasn't really expecting any news, but thought I'd just call anyway.

Spent just under half an hour waiting tonight, longer than my usual waiting times when calling them!

Asked if we had been scheduled an interview yet by any chance...

EEEEEK! DECEMBER 19TH I AM SO EXCITED. It's not quite hit me yet. I think I'm going to wake up tomorrow and it's suddenly going to hit me. JUST OVER 5 WEEKS. I'm gonna be with my husband for New Year and I am feeling so grateful right now. NVC had just scheduled it yesterday. The lady wished me good luck which was lovely of her.

Congratulations to everyone who has received CC lately, may we all get to our loved ones soon! :D:D:D:dance::dancing:

Congratulations!!! I have been following your journey for a while now. Happy for you it is finally coming to the point of an interview.

Great news!

I tried to look for yours - is there an embassy in Antigua or do you have to go to another island for your interview?

Done with medical pretty straight forward took them like 45 mins to finish everthing. Just physical exam, took urine and blood sample then xray. Report will be sent directly to the Embassy and gave me 3 vaccines.Depending on my antibodies after labwork they might add another one for chicken pox. They say if i dont hear nothing from them Im good. I said you better not be calling me lol Hope all will be well for us

Managed to talk to a rep after 50 minutes of waiting and right before they closed lines at 9pm EST :luv: Interview scheduled for December 20th in Johannesburg!!!!!

What is the process for requesting to reschedule for an earlier appointment if available? Do I just email the embassy directly?

So happy for everyone's journeys

You'll need to wait until J'burg gets your file. After your case status changes to "ready" you can write to the Embassy to ask for an earlier interview.
