How did you find out the interview date? Did you call or you get an email? My case was completed Nov 4th confirmed on the phone. I haven't received any email yet.

I called today to confirm that ours was complete and was told our interview date was scheduled. I believe the timeline on the interview schedule is different for each embassy. You should receive a letter once the interview is scheduled along with any extra information they require from you. I recommend calling as often as you can to find out if your interview has been scheduled since there seems to be a delay between when their systems update and when we get notified. :)

In 2012 we become best friends and we start have feelings to each other...

In 2014 we finally tell what we felt to each other... And on October 07 we became a couple!

On February 8, 2015 she said yes!!!

Hi. I'm Ayu from Indonesia, my husband is American. We still haven't received any email about the case, but my husband called NVC last few days ago and the officer told him that the case was completed since November 3, 2016 and they will send us email regarding the interview date once the slot was open. And since we still haven't received any email until today, and the status on NVC website is still the same, my husband called the NVC again today to ask about the interview date, the officer told him my interview date will be on December 29, 2016. We didn't expect that, we thought I could get the interview in the end of this month since the case was completed since the beginning of the November. This process has been very hard for us and we haven't met each other since May, I'm wondering the chances of my visa being approved considering now Trump is the president and he hates Muslims and immigrants :cry2::cry2::cry2:

And since it is not guaranteed that I will get the visa even though my case was completed, I'm so worried that I might not get the visa and we have to wait longer to be able to live together. I wonder if you guys know anyone who's been through the same process and being denied.

Thank you all.

I'm wondering the chances of my visa being approved considering now Trump is the president

He's not the president. He won't be until January 20. Your visa will be issued and you will probably have entered the country (and therefore become an automatic legal permanent resident) before this happens.

No visa is guaranteed, of course. But there is no more reason for you to be denied now than last week. Nothing has changed.

The interviews are scheduled for the following month or later. So in November they schedule for December. In December they will be scheduling for January. They need enough time to get the files to the overseas embassies, for applicants to make travel arrangements (some people have to travel to other countries for the interview if they live in a small country with no visa department at the local embassy), and for the COs at the embassy to read through the files and do research on the applicant before they arrive for interview.
