Good day! I don't know if this topic had been discussed already but can someone help me with the A-number? I am filing for my N-400 and in the form, it is asking for my A-number. I am wondering where can I find it? Or is the A-number the USCIS # on my permanent resident card?

And does anybody know if I have to pass original birth and marriage certificates?

It's labelled as "USCIS #" on your green card.

To answer this question you don't need to send original birth or marriage certificates, they will accept a copy. You may have to and probably should carry the originals to your interview but that's sometime away. All the best!
