He is detailed design engineer working in the nuclear industry, who seems to micro-manage his foreign other half  judging from his previous threads. "She may turn out to be teachable in the long run."

Not too surprised that things happened, just that timing is so fast before marriage.

So in essence, a case that VAWA was made for. :wow: It grosses me out as a mother and the mother of a part Filipino daughter that there are creeps preying on women in poverty because they know they are desperate.

Apparently, Filipinas are too smart for that, though.

Your original post didn't seem to be soliciting support - it primarily appeared to warn of scams by foreign partners.

Its admirable to want to warn others, but would you have taken such advice from others, if offered, before your latest k1? I think unfortunately people in these situations don't listen to advice, and make up their own minds.

I know that I would never marry anyone that I'd only spent 2 weeks with, I just don't think its long enough to really get to know someone. In my case my wife is the USC and I'm British so there was no thought of fraud, but I still want to get to really know someone before getting married. Its a massive decision.

I think if you're getting married to someone who you haven't spent much time with, and who is from a very poor country you have to consider that they have much to gain and little to lose from getting married to an American. At the very least I'd probably want to spend longer with them, and perhaps talk about me moving to their country for a while, rather than bringing them to the US - if only as a bluff to see whether marriage still interests them without the green card offer.

Nonsense! Blasphemy!

I will approach my quest for companionship at a method of my own choosing pal. ok? It's really not your business I'm just seeking support but I guess the world is too cruel for that.

I've never seen any single Filipinas where I live. Not even any foreign single women either.

Milpitas, CA - 15minutes from where I live. The largest concentration of Filipinos that I know of... the entire Milpitas Police dept is Asian or white. Cheaper than going to the Philippines and they already here.

Also - hang around a hospital in the Bay Area - 95% of the nursing staff are Pinay. And I understand your interest for Pinays - I was bitten by that bug as well. :dancing:

Not sure how are you meeting them - websites? Try a different site... there are a bunch that cater to your interests.

No single "foreign" woman you say?? Start looking outside of where you live you are open to going across the ocean.

You will be surprised at the number of single women that are there. Unless you are looking for one specific nationality then your chances are lower.

You ain't a fool yet..but you become one after the 3rd time.

Even if you choose to find your next spouse in Philippines, I would suggest you go and live there for a long time. heck, tell her you will have no plans of staying in the US but to live in her country. That should prompt some reaction.

Good luck to you but don't be a sucker!

"Tell her you will have no plans of staying in the US"... now that is brilliance.

I'm sorry to hear that. But not all Filipinas are like that actually there are a lot of Filipinas that are good hearted. Try to check on the background of the girl before getting yourself involve and have your friends check her out, Another suggestion is to have lady friends so you can get an opinion of another female.
