NVC Processing Time, the K-1 documents sent from the CSC

Hello! Annel and I received an email (and a letter) that our fiance visa was approved on Oct. 3rd. I still don't know if the documents were sent from the California Service Center. I called the NVC and they told me that they do not have the documents yet. Is this typical? What was your wait time for the documents to be sent to the NVC?

We did not receive any recent change in the USCIS My Status....it just says that it was approved Oct. 3.

It sadly seems far more common as of late. It took 28 days to get our case number after our approval. There are still some people who get their numbers very quickly, but it does seem to be taking much longer than what it used to for CSC to send the approved cases to NVC. I hope you hear soon! The wait for NVC seems 10x worse to me than waiting for NOA2!
