November 7 - Interview. Given 221g and asked to see CV, which we gave them at the interview. Passport returned to us.

November 14: Received email to submit a new CV (I think because a name of a university was slightly cut off without me realizing it) as well as passport. Submitted requested CV and passport same day by special delivery - they should receive it tomorrow! :)

No change of status on CEAC. Status update date only ganged once, on Nov. 14, status still shows "ready"

Can anyone guess if I'm on the right path to be receiving my passport and visa back in about 10-15 days as is true for visas that have been approved? Or will they likely hold my passport while they continue to do AP?? The suspense is killing me! :P

Thats great to hear. I had my interview on 10th November, and the visa was issued on the 15th. I found some really good ticket prices today so booked a flight for the 29th this month. I am hoping my passport/visa will be available before then, seeing your post gives me a good feeling.

Looks like standard is 1 day for AP, but please keep us posted, we got a 221g (he accidentally brought a copy of his birth certificate) and I'd like an idea of how long it'll set us back

Hi ceisenbruch,

So far, we only got one update, the day after the embassy received the passport and docs.

November 16: Administrative Processing (Immigrant Visa)

Case creation date unchanged.

From what I've seen from other, it needs to change to nonimmigrant admin processing before changing to issued. Good luck and keep me posted on your progress as well!
