Is I-94 Enough Evidence of Legal U.S. Entry? [split topic]

Hello All,

please forgive my ignorance and please help me with the following question Is a I-94 enough evidence that i enter the country legally??? My passport with my Expired visa and I94 was lost. Passport and I94 been replaced but not my Visa. I contacted the USA embassy in my country and they was no help. Thet claim i dont need info of a Visa thats already expired but on My AOS package is asking me for Visa # and Issued date. Please help

You just need to show a legal entry. The stamp in the passport will suffice, with an explanation.

I Know this is a long shot since this tread is form 2012 , but ill try anyways maybe i get a response. i lost my passport with visa and I94 in it . passport and i94 has been replaced but not the Visa. My AOS package has been submitted and I'm currently waiting on NOA. do you think My I94 is enough evidence that i entered legally. I do have my Visa # which i put on my form but i don't have the issue date.should i contact the CBP for an FOIA. Thanks for your imput
