After my husband went for a CR1 (DCF) interview in Bangkok. We need to send my tax return and Domicile.

I got questions that I would like to ask you guys..

1. I moved back to Thailand about 3 years ago to live w/my husband and to bring him back to US. I don't have any income in US. Do I need to file my tax? What's form should I file ( I devorce my ex-husband and I don't have any kid) How to file no income tax? I've no idea how to fill up the form..

2. For domicile.. Is it enough to show 30k in my US account, the mailing address and drivers license?

Thanks so much guys!!!!

1. Yes, a US citizen needs to file taxes with the IRS even if living abroad. You probably won't need to PAY anything, unless you made a lot of money, but you will need to file if you had income abroad. You can backfile.

2. It may be enough, not sure how picky your embassy is. Other things you could consider: show you travelled back to the USA for holidays; show a lease or at least being in touch with realtors, or a letter from a friend/ family where you will be staying when you move back; sign on with job agencies/ show proof of looking for a ob state side. Show you have items in storage waiting for you when you move back.
