Hello VJers

I appreciate your all help and support for my successful k1 visa issued. This journey is not done yet. I need your more help in further processing.

What happens after getting passport? Can I get flight ticket and come to the US or need to do something else too? What is POE? I think it is the first airport we get off in the USA but not sure. What if my flight is from :

Kathmandu(KTM)-Doha(DOH)

Doha(DOH)-Philadelphia(PHL)

Philadelphia(PHL)-Greensboro(GSO)

Philadelphia will be my POE? Will I have any issue connecting another flight to Greensboro from there? Do you know how busy will be philadelphia airport POE? and how much connecting time will be good enough? And plz tell me what happens in the POE in detail. Thanks in advance :)

Visa will be printed inside the passport. You will need that, you visa package in the sealed envelope and all of the supporting documentation (as backup).

POE = Point Of Entry. It is the first place in the US where the immigrant enters. Based on the flight details you posted your POE will be Philadelphia.

Since PHL is only a layover before you connecting flight you should be sure you have enough time to go through customs. Some say 4 - 5 hours before the next flight.

Hope this helps.
