Quick I130 question (for stepson)

I have a question before I send in my step-sons I-130 application tomorrow. I am a US born citizen and married to a Mexican woman who was in the US illegally. My wife and stepson EWI to the USA at the age when he was 1 years old. He is now 12 years old. My wife and I (and 2 US born children) are currently in Tijuana (waiting for her I601 approval, she already went to appointment in Juarez), and now we want to file for my stepson. I work in San Diego and cross the border every day, but I do have a US address (distant cousin lives in San Diego and lets me use his address). My stepson is in Indiana still, living with his aunt. He has been having issues with his aunt (and also being separated from us has been hard on all of us) and really there is no one else in the US that he could stay with. Our plans were to wait until his Juarez appointment to take him out of the US. But we are now considering bringing him to live in Tijuana with us within the next few weeks.

So here is my question: On his I-130 I put his address as a US address (under "Information about your relative"). If I bring him here to Tijuana, and submit his I-130 with the Tijuana address (meaning that he is no longer in the US illegally), would this change anything at all? Would it make the process faster? Would it look better in his interview? Or do I leave the US address on there and bring him to Tijuana anyway?

I am fully aware that he doesn't accumulate illegal presence because he is a minor. I am just confused if where he is at the moment (US illegally or Mexico legally) will affect his application. I have searched and can't really find anything like this situation. Thank you very much for any help.
