Plus, being married to a newly immigrated Egyptian makes housewifedom nearly impossible. Chances are they'd never make enough money so you could stay home comfortably.

Oh, I've already accepted the fact that I'm going to HAVE to continue working....like it or not.....I just was thinking it would be nice not to HAVE to work.

That may be but...will your husbands make enough money to support you to stay home? I'm thinking not.

Again...this is a fantasy. There is NO reality in this thread.

Although........................if we moved to a place where it's cheaper to live I don't see it entirely impossible for him to support us. Of course it wouldn't be 100% since I do get child support. Once his english gets a little better he could absolutely go back into the office supply field, which he knows very well, and become pretty good. Actually any type of sales where he's an account manager of sorts would bring in some good money if he's good at what he does, which I believe he is. The key is the English though. Don't get me wrong...he is good but he has to be good to a complete stranger and hone in on those written skills.

Of course living where I live now there's no way in heck he'd be able to do it. It is a goal though, to move to a cheaper area and for me to be a stay at home mom, or at least a mom who only works part time. Back when my husband was around I worked two days a week and LOVED it!!

I am 100% cool with just working a few days a week... AND he better get his butt in gear as soon as he gets here cause I know he wants kids as soon as possible... ditto with the english thing...
