Time frame from Employers Letter????

I posted this on the regular thread (k-3) but no one is answering

I have to send my husband a copy of my passport... BUT i was wondering if I can send a Letter from my employer NOW so that i can save on some postage (these 30/40 dollar postage stamps add up ! ) INshallah.. Any day we are going to be receiveing the Packet 3.. and have NOT gotten a Interview date set.. BUT i wanna be prepared

Does your letter from your employer have to be signed within a certain time frame???

I am not sure what the timeframe for employer letters but you probably couldn't be wrong if it is within a six month timeframe. I gave Claudeth mine at the beginning of March and her interview was at the beginning of June. Good luck

whoopsies...hahaha...i thought it said "new employer" and I remember a thread where you wanted a change. Well inshallah you won't have to work when he gets here. That's my dream and I'm stickin' to it though I know I have a snowball's chance in H-E double hockey sticks of that happening.

I don't think it has to be within a certain time frame. My husband sent my employment letter in with the packet 3 stuff.

You know I really loooong to be a simple housewife!!!!!!

Morning : wake up early, make nice hot breakfast for kiddies and hubbie, drop everyone off

Mid morning: go back to sleep

Noon: meet friends for lunch, go for a walk or workout at the gym

mid Afternoon: go shopping for the night's dinner

Afternoon: start preparing a kickin' dinner for everyone, pick up kids and take them to the afterschool activities that they have never been able to go to since I'm always working

Evening: settle down to a nice meal

my employment letter was about 5 months old when my husband had his interview and it was accepted at the amman embassy. You could always email the embassy and ask for more specifcs. Good Luck!

Doodle, have you ever been a full time housewife? It's really kinda tedious IMO. You don't really spend time with friends since all the friends have jobs and lives so you can't relate anymore plus they don't have time for you. I could never go back to being a full time housewife. I was one for 9 long years. Plus, being married to a newly immigrated Egyptian makes housewifedom nearly impossible. Chances are they'd never make enough money so you could stay home comfortably.
