Try sending him a scanned version that he can print and bring too. I don't know if they'll accept it, but at least he'll have something.

It's not the end of the world, worst case his visa issuance gets delayed.

If it isn't difficult, it isn't worth it.

They wouldn't deny you becoz you don't have it. Just do it as A'n'L said take scanned i-134 for now and explained what happened. They dont accept it but they also dont deny you and will give you time to present signed i-134.

In my interview my fiance's last year income tax return was not enough for household of 3 people (he wrote down different amount in i-134 form which was more than showing in 1040 form line 22.as he got recently job promotion and makes more now.) and local staff(Nepali sraff) told me that "the amount he written in i-134 should be exactly showing in the form 1040. But you have to see what CO will tell you. If CO thinks its not enough then you have to do co-sponsor for i-134 .dont worry you wont get denied .he will give you time to submit it."

I got approved that day. CO didnt say anything.

And the same day there was another K1 applicant guy he didnt have his government issued BC and police clearance report from uk as he lived there for 9 months almost 6 years ago .but they wanted that police clearance from uk. CO did his interview .he got approved but his visa wont be issued till he submit those 2 documents.

Hope it helps you
