Our interview at the Dublin us embassy got rescheduled I guess cuz my tax forms we're handwritten. I do my own taxes and I've always hand written them. I've never had a problem with them anywhere. I ordered new ones from the IRS, and it's now been 10 days! Nothing. I haven't gotten them in the mail yet. Everyone I've asked about it tells me the IRS is just gunna send me a copy of my hand written again.

I am self imployed, so there's no w-2, however I did hand in a note from where I work, also a note of a new job I acquired recently, and my tax returns.

I miss my fiancé so much and it sucks we're another month apart.

Anyone else have this problem?

Some advice?

I've emailed them asking about it and they were quite rude to me as well. I am beside myself.

That lady is not nice at all. The girl needs a reality check. She tried her damnedest to cancel my interview on the day. Asking for things that where not on the website or in the Packet 3. It was proof of address for the place I'm staying in the US. Lucky I had it just by chance.

In your case, you need to be less nice to her. if you push back she backs down, If you get what I mean.

Don't roll over and take it.

Maybe get the tax doc's notarised or verified by a lawyer. Or ask the IRS for your online log in to print off your tax statements from the IRS website. Or have your man print them from his computer in Ireland. Thats how my lady got her docs for my Affidavit of support.

Also tried to cancel my friends interview a few weeks before but he asked to speak with a manager and she backed down. I feel your pain. But don't let her bully you.

You need to order tax TRANSCRIPTS from the IRS - which may be what you have done. The transcript will show what the IRS has determined is your correct income and tax information based on their review of your tax returns. A copy of your return just shows what you filed, but a transcript shows what the government accepted.

If you requested a transcript, then you shouldn't have a problem with that part in future interviews.
