Thank you for this. A slow day all around with the exception of the 20 RFE's for 10/31 and 2 approvals.

Maybe others will have some updates for their dates.

Ok Nico22 we can start with RFE's.

Per one of my weekend post it appears as if there was some CSC activity on a Saturday.

Yesterday was a holiday MLK day which is normally a non working day for most non-essential Federal Workers so I assumed no activity yesterday Monday.

I was wrong. :bonk:

Apparently many at the service center are contract workers and not actually Federal Employees so that may be why they were working a bit this 3 day weekend.

I did not see any approvals yesterday however we have plenty of RFE's to go around for cases received on 10/31.

It appears the pattern is RFE's issued throughout the day or at earlier specific time.

I ran the search around 3PM PST which is CSC time and below is what came up.

Will run again around 8pm -4 hours from now and expect to see many APPROVALS

I've been running a smaller subset of 23 cases with receive dates on October 28th :

10 - Approved

4 - RFE

9 - Unworked

No new approved in 2017. Ironically they were approved in November or December. Seems to be no reason or rhyme on how they work the cases.

April 22, 2020 - I-751 sent

April 23, 2020 - I-751 received at Lockbox

April 29, 2020 - Check cashed
??? - didn’t receive text or email confirmation. Ugh!

HI Ybhamster, after 7 to 10 day you can start calling the NVC they won't have the file right away. CSC will take sometime to get it to them. About a month ago they were very backed up as you may recall and it was taking 21-30 days. Things have sped up a bit though. I plan to call after 7 days and everyday after that. I might be calling for another 14 days but so be it. Other option is to not call at all and just wait till the NVC mails out something. Well that is not an option for me..haha...zero patience for that. Only other thing your fiancee has to do as Philippine citizen is to do the CFO.

We have been working on our DS-160 every few nights you can start that already with her right now if you want.

Jim

Do you think it's a good idea to do the CFO now while we wait for the NOA2 (receipt date Nov.4)? And where can we do the DS-160? Is it also a good idea to finish that before the NOA2? Lol i'm sorry if I have a lot of questions. First time and we just really want to do everything right.

^^

PS

thanks for all the help you've given so far!

I honestly don't recall if you can even do the CFO without the NOA 2 and or MNL number from NVC

I would say too soon at this point and probably not even possible.

You can do the DS-160 as a matter of fact we just finished our tonight. We were working on it little by little.

Have the digital photo loaded. Just waiting for NOA 2 (not that it is needed) and then she (in Philippines) will digitally sign it.

The American can help fill it out but the foreigner has to click (sign) to verify all correct.

We just have to access the DS-160 every 30 days or it will go bye bye.

This was weird. Case Tracker app on iPhone gave me an update on my case but it was weird because receipt number on the update was different from mine. Possible glitch but just made me trust the app less. ?

Saw 6 approvals made on January 17. I dunno what dates they were for though. Early November filers most probably.
