My fiancé has experienced the same kind of questions from everyone in her life, but especially her boss at work seems to always try to make her doubt our relationship from the time we got engaged. The pressure she experience on a daily basis from everyone in her life regarding our engagement can get overwhelming for sure. They seem to be very jealous and upset that she will be coming to the USA to marriage and live with me forever. Telling her that she is abandoning them and only thinking of herself and our child. I hope this makes us stronger because without me there in person and I can only do so much on the phone, she is not doing well at this point. When we get our NOA2 it will certainly lift my spirits, but I think she will get the jolt of confidence that she needs right now. I can only hope that it comes soon.

Ybhamster,

My fiancé in Cuba is getting similar vibes from some people but not from others.  It´s very mixed the feelings of his friends from work, but his family is strong and they believe in us, so that matters a lot.  Also, because Obama just lifted the "Wet foot, Dry foot" legislation, the lines to get a passport are horrible!  We decided to wait till we were approved to get the passport (which in retrospect, we shouldn't have), but we weren't expecting this news to come out.  He said that one guy spent the night in front of the office to get his passport.  I'm sure this is not a solitary tale.  I'm sure this happens in places all over the world, but it is new for Cubans, I think, at least in his home town.  I learned my lesson, don't wait!  I was going off of previous averages, but times changed so fast with the turn of a new president.

All the best to you are your fiancée.  I know it is hard to deal with the every day life so far away.  Stay strong.

So just to clarify the process after the NOA2 is received. Once you get the text or email, you should start calling the NVC everyday until they give you your new case number. Once received you use the case number to schedule your interview and subsequently your medical exam? Then you do the medical exam and the interview and hopefully get your visa. Then you fly to the US and get married. Then file AOS with employment authorization and removal of conditions forms included?

HI Ybhamster, after 7 to 10 day you can start calling the NVC they won't have the file right away. CSC will take sometime to get it to them. About a month ago they were very backed up as you may recall and it was taking 21-30 days. Things have sped up a bit though. I plan to call after 7 days and everyday after that. I might be calling for another 14 days but so be it. Other option is to not call at all and just wait till the NVC mails out something. Well that is not an option for me..haha...zero patience for that. Only other thing your fiancee has to do as Philippine citizen is to do the CFO.

We have been working on our DS-160 every few nights you can start that already with her right now if you want.

Ok Nico22 we can start with RFE's.

Per one of my weekend post it appears as if there was some CSC activity on a Saturday.

Yesterday was a holiday MLK day which is normally a non working day for most non-essential Federal Workers so I assumed no activity yesterday Monday.

I was wrong. :bonk:

Apparently many at the service center are contract workers and not actually Federal Employees so that may be why they were working a bit this 3 day weekend.

I did not see any approvals yesterday however we have plenty of RFE's to go around for cases received on 10/31.

It appears the pattern is RFE's issued throughout the day or at earlier specific time.

I ran the search around 3PM PST which is CSC time and below is what came up.

Will run again around 8pm -4 hours from now and expect to see many APPROVALS

Not for your dates yet. I think other's are tracking different dates in November and hopefully they will post if any approvals.

I just search for 10/28 and 10/31 receipt dates.

There were 20 RFE's over the weekend for 10/31.

WOW that's great news! but it does stress me out a bit when I see that the last digits of most cases reviewed over the past few days have been 300s and 400s. Im in the first 1/4th of the 100s. makes me ask myself whyyyyyy! lol but I guess that means I should be hearing something soon. Oh how I Wish they just went in order so they we all knew exactly when we would get a notification.

yeah in a perfect world that sure would be nice. Just so many employees there grabbing files and taking to desk. Different employee work different speeds.

We will all get it soon enough.
