For I-129F they are mainly looking at you the American to insure you meet all the requirements.

At Embassy level they look at them and your relationship. As long as no fraud intent by either than they will approve if all else is met.

Embassy in Manila regularly approves 40 plus year age gaps so your 13 is nothing. Mine is 25 year difference with my fiancee.

Jim

And I think it can vary by country. Age gaps are more common and socially acceptable in some countries, and Embassy scrutiny might recognize that.

Ok maybe if you want you can keep the board updated for your date of 11/9 as there are approvals.

So is this what was happening for the past 2 month that is causing the delay?

USCIS official twitter account retweeted this a couple days ago.

#DHSinReview - does this means they are being audited? Maybe the same thing is happening at the USCIS too..

No problem...I am not either. I simply downloaded an app to track petitions from Apple Store (other devices have similar apps). I then took my receipt number and went back until I found the first receipt number from my filing date (31 October). Then can search forward 500 at a time.

Thank you SO MUCH mountainsea!

I'll start to update  here for mid-November filers. No sense starting regular updates right away as there are basically no cases worked - but I will as we get closer.

For receipt date 11/14: I think the first I-129F is WAC1790069683. If this is correct, then there are 446 total I-129F with 11/14 receipt date. Of these, 441 are unworked, and 5 were rejected (for forms not signed). No RFEs or approvals yet. When it starts moving on approvals/RFEs I will begin posting on it. I believe this number is SO high because Friday, Nov. 11th was a federal holiday - so the 14th is the receipt date for any applications that arrived at the USPS dropbox location after mail was picked up on Thursday, Nov. 10th through the pick up on the 14th.

Wow!! That is a massive number for one day based on the previous quarter averages for the year. I am sure the holiday weekend played a role, but I'm betting November filings were up significantly. Will be interesting to see when they release 4th quarter figures.

In the Google Play Store, this is the app you should be looking for. It's the one I currently have.

Thanks arisxx - I think the problem people are having is that when they are using Android, they cannot find the search function to search hundreds of cases at once that those of us with the iPhone and USCIS Case Tracker app are able to do easily in the search function. Hopefully someone with the app you showed above has figured out how to search large cases using that one - several people have posted they can't figure out how to do that on an Android phone.

YBHamster here is the BEST UPDATE of the MONTH so far!!!

I've been tracking 10/31 receipt dates on the USCIS App.

As previously stated they approved only 38 of over 350 and it took them nearly 2 1/2 months.

The Big news is today alone they approved 34 MORE cases from 10/31.

Just incredible.

I'm not sure if this much work got done in 1 day or they did these over the course of the month and  decided to batch them out in large bulk approvals but there it is for everyone to digest.

Bottom line we have some serious movement from USCIS CSC today.

These 34 are just from 10/31 so I'm sure there will be many other NOA 2's issued from other dates as well( I Hope )

Receipt for 10/31 now stands at 72 Approved 35 RFE with 244 left to go.

I saw this too!

Thank God things seem to have picked up.  I was starting to get REALLY ansy.

Thanks Jim for your update.  I also noticed that there has NOT been much change for the I-130 folks.  I-129f tend to take priority in the past.

Wonder what the chart will look like after today's files.

Hold on tight everyone!
