OH MY GOODNESS! They are currently processing JULY 16,2016 cases!!!! ='(

Of course not

That is just what USCIS puts on their web page so we won't call them every day.

Having said that there are cases that remain unapproved going back to July and probably even before that but they would be the rare exceptions.

Yes. Check this site's timelines search alone...there's a bunch of people on the that got their NOA2 that filed in Nov.

And no need to get distraught. It is what it is...all you can do is wait patiently at this point.

If you just look at my signature line you can see that they have already approved cases from the 1st few days of November.

The problem is they have basically stopped.

Here is the November update per USCIS App

As of today 1/5/17 for cases received by USCIS on 10/28 there were ZERO approvals again today

For cases received on 10/31 there were ZERO approvals today.  There have been ZERO approvals in the last week for cases received 10/31.

Maybe they are having some sort of mandatory employee training at CSC this week <_<

It's really become a sad situation.

There is absolutely nothing we can do about it but wait and occupy ourselves.

I think I will go hide for for 5 days. See you all

Have a great weekend.

I'm glad this page exists so I know I am not alone waiting for our NOA2.Hehe! Our NOA1 hard copy shows Nov 30th "received date" so for sure it will be approved before my birthday (March 16th).Haha I am trying my best to stay positive so I can focus on my job.lol

My friend who applied last Sept 2016 was approved 1st week of Dec 2016 so I think they are not just processing the cases for July 2016 as what we've seen on the USCIS page.

There is nothing to update. Except that better way may be to go trough Mexico.

As for those panicking about the USCIS processing time update, don't worry too much. I ran a quick search on the app last night and, after some tampering around with a bunch of receipt numbers, saw that there are no cases around July 16 that haven't been worked on. Everything that's in the "other" category (iPhone app) was either withdrawn or something like "Document was mailed". That means there are no cases for that date that need to be processed anymore.

My assumption as for the change in processing times is that with the new administration coming in, USCIS expects changes and, consequently, delays in just about everything. Remember, they do not only adjudicate I129-F and I-130, and since one of Trump's top priorities is to fix immigration, that will affect USCIS and bring about changes. In order to implement them, they need time to reorganize and possibly a new manual for certain types of visas, i.e. DACA (I wish he wouldn't change that though). With inauguration around the corner and the 115th congress sworn in earlier this week, everything - government or not - seems to be a bit on the edge.

Bottom line is, let's not start panicking just yet; as Jim said, they also want to make sure that their helpline does not crash as there may be a lot of other people calling in, wanting to make sure that their cases get adjudicated prior to Jan 20. I'd say, up until March, there's really nothing at all to worry about (says someone who's patience is actually almost non-existent :))

Again, good luck to everyone; I hope for all of us that they get back to their pace earlier 2016 again by the end of Jan or beginning of Feb, when the new administration is settling in...
