I'm glad I found this thread. My fiancée and I submitted Nov. 9th, NOA-1 date Nov. 16th, and now I can put my mind to rest about checking my texts/emails/VJ forums daily, as almost no one from November has had an approval. So I think I'm going to turn my brain off thinking about all of this, and enjoy time with my fiancée, who arrives later this week to spend time together for the New Year. Hoping for the CSC to get moving in Jan and that all of us receive approvals quickly 2017 arrives.

Welcome to the thread Fishe23a, yes if any thing for November happens you will hear about it here.

Very fortunate that your fiance comes from a country that it's citizens are freely allowed to travel here to USA.

Merry Christmas and Happy New year!

Hey guys do you think the way we assemble our files will affect the process? I didnt know that USCIS didnt like binder after we sent our files. And there was a girl who was very lucky she got approved after 3 weeks she sent her case on the first November, this is how she assembled her paperworks. Do you think USCIS will appreciate those cases first because the petioners follow their instruction? Im nervous that our packet will be put at the end of the shelf :crying:

yes and Thank you Ijim, my timeline was messed up :P

I heard from 2nd hand information that they tear everything out of binder, folder etc. Some info gets scanned and hard file is created by putting 2 hole punched at top of pages similar to what you put in the photo.

It should make very little difference as to when your file get reviewed. Worker needs to review them all eventually so a few binders/sleeves/folders will not slow them down much.

Your Timeline looks great..haha :D it's just missing an NOA 2 date... :cry:like nearly all of us NOA filers.

Hi Chi, nothing wrong with what either of you did and the delay has 100% nothing to do with it.

USCIS CSC has just went to (forget about I-129F mode).

They will be back on track soon enough.

Hi. I'm new to this thread. Our NOA1 dates back November 8, 2016. I'm not sure what's happening but I guess it's safe to say that most of us won't be seeing any movements regarding our cases till mid to late January. My fiancé, the petitioner, has been anxious about this because we were expecting it to be as fast as the ones in the middle of 2016. Alas, that seems to not be the case.

Anyway, we have the holidays to be busy about! And our careers and hobbies to at least have a nice distraction. We talk everyday on FaceTime but not being together just takes its toll on all of us sometimes. We're gonna toughen it up! So good luck to all of us here! I'll be checking back on everyone here regularly so all of us can at least have any idea what's going on and not totally feel left out.

Bobby (Beneficiary)

Oh btw i'm from Pampanga, Philippines!

PS

Thanks a lot Jim for your time and effort in researching and actually shedding some light in the matter. ^^

Hello Bobby, Welcome both of you to the November filers thread.

Yup it's probably one of the worst months of the year so far but it is what it is.

Yes keep busy and Merry Christmas to you both.

There were all of ZERO approvals between yesterday and today 12/23

CSC employee's already off drinking NOG.

Your NOA 1 date is technically the "Notice Date" Upper right hand corner of your NOA 1.
