Hey Jim,

The 1st guy told me to send it to the address listed in the NOA1 "once I got it." It ended up being po box 3011...I totally was not thinking to get a tracking # :-( so that letter is who knows where. Now this time I was given the address where RFE's go, and I have a tracking #.

Ah much better.

You should have your NOA 2 before long as your case is actively assigned and being worked/monitored by someone.

Jim

Yes thats the biggest reason im going back! My fiance and i didnt take very many pics with family so this time im coming back with Alot especially since our application had frw family pics and because we have only known each other since january of this year. Also the trip will be a great time to get our packages together and interview questions.

Yeah i did somethin similar... my trip will be March first... I figure i will have heard something and sent any RFEs by then.... also I only took one trip so the next trip im meeting his family ...going over our interview questions and taking more picture to get him ready for the interview. my flight was $1500 cheaper than usual so i had to take advantage lol.

What is your total flight time. Do you stop in Europe somewhere first for your flight?

Great idea to have a in person practice interview. It's like the grand daddy of all final exams.

Well a new week and same ole nothing with USCIS.

If your case was delivered to USCIS on 10/28 then this is for you.

There were are now 43 approved cases (no change since Dec 9th.

However CSC was nice enough to issue ONE RFE today bringing the total to 40 RFEs for cases received on 11/28

and of course ZERO movement for 10/31 delivery dates to USCIS.

Ok So what did your lawyer tell you?

Actually you are free to call them yourself.

I would do that if your lawyer did not get through today.

On the USCIS app it normally says why they sent something to you or it will say

"did not sign" , no payment, Request for additional info.

(EDIT)I plugged in your # on app it just says "Document Mailed" another member had similar item COB821

Very curious.

Hope its just an input error on their part.

Let us know

Jim

OK. So this is what went down. With a lawyer, I get a NOA1, and do does he.

However, apparently the USCIS is working with some messed up IT. The space allocated for suite/unit/apt numbers in its system is 4 digits. However as you know, lots are more than 4. My lawyer's suite is a 5 digit number. Mail got returned.

Hello guys! i just would like to ask, how do you do the timelines? My fiancé and I submitted our 1-129F in October, got received by the uscis in November 2 and notice date is November 7. We immediately received our NOA1 after we filled but I'm just worried because up to now, we haven't received our NOA2 yet. Are there a lot of approvals from the November filers already? This waiting game is terrible.

Well at least now you know what happened.

It's going to be a LONG January I can tell already.

Keep yourselves busy there

Hi MFBE and welcome to the forum/thread

You filled in your VJ timeline correctly.

The NOA 1 should be the "Notice date" that is on the form.

USCIS CSC has stopped processing I-129F's at this time.

Hopefully they will start again in January until then just find something to keep yourself busy until the Holidays are over.

Where in the Philippines are you from Mine is from Negros or are you the petitioner?

Hey Jim! Thank you for the warm welcome. And always taking the time off answering almost everybody's queries! Yeah, just sort of made my VJ timeline. I think we pretty much have the same timeline? Hehe. My notice date is November 7 and I saw in one of the threads that USCIS is already processing applications with a November 7 notice date. But oh well, guess the holidays would put the process into a halt! Let's pray for a great January! Hopefully we get our NOA2's soon.

I'm from Bacoor. It's a City next to Manila if you're heading south! My fiance's from NC.

Enjoy the holidays!

Best,

Mai

Your signature line is confusing me it has October and November dates mixed up.

Thousand of I-129F's sent to USCIS in November.

I found a total of 3 approvals so far.

As stated before they have stopped working any new cases at this time.

January may or may not be better for us.

No way to know.

Apparently there is at least one person still working and awake at CSC haha.

There were 2 approvals one on 12/20 and one today 12/20 but these were BOTH RFE's to approval and OCTOBER NOA 1's.

Congrats to them.

Where are they throwing their resources? Do they have a backlog of post NOA2s they are clearing out, then to turn back to the NOA1s?

No idea but they definitely have a back log of I-129F's cases to review.

There can be behinds the scenes activity that we will never be privy to.

Let hope that 1st or 2nd week of January they will be back working these.
