Mzladyq, you're actually in good company. A lot of people on here have NOA1-dates similar to yours, and none of us have gotten approved as of yet. We're all hoping and wishing that we will be approved sooner rather than later. I hope that at the very least having company provides a little bit of solace...

I feel like i should have gotten a NOA2 by now. Seems like all the filers that filed around the same time I did, have already been approved!

Hello, welcome to the thread/forum.

What is the date of "notice date" on your paper form NOA 1 I-797-C upper right hand corner?

That should be your NOA 1 date.

Did you sign up for case status at https://egov.uscis.gov/casestatus/disclaimer.do

What is the Received date for Form I-129F, Petition for on that website for your case?

There are over 500 unapproved / unworked I-129F's around your date including mine so you are not alone.

There have been only about 10% approved so far and USCIS CSC has nearly grinded to to a hault on K-1's.

I don't know if this will make anybody feel any better but there are people still waiting for approvals from September 26 2016 the same date my i-129f was received. Someone just got approved on December 14, 2016, whose file was received on September 26 so November filers don't feel so bad someone else out there is doing worst.

If you do some research on statistics for earlier this year or past years, you will see that a month or so to approval has actually not been the case for most folks. It all depends on USCIS and how fast (or not) they can process. Also, keep in mind that the fees for I-129F are going up on Dec 23, so I would assume that a lot of people try to file sooner rather than later in order to pay the smaller fee of "only" $340 instead of $500+

That being said, I would certainly not complain if we were approved until the end of the year ;)

I hope all of you are having a nice Friday.

Yeah we are 20 plus days ahead of your filing and only 15 of 330 cases approved.

USCIS is dead in their tracks.

Many federal workers will be taking the next 1 to 2 weeks off on top of that.

Ok then you are the exact same situation as 330 other people who's I-129F was also received on that same date including us..

We are on day 44 of waiting from our NOA 1 which was 11/2.

Our timeline expected process date per "prior" approvals of other members keeps moving up.

I saw only one approval for today here on VJ although people pay be busy and not have chance to update

The only approval was a NOA 1 of Sept 23 with No RFE and they were just approved today Dec 14th so 84 DAYS to approve I-129F via NOA 2

Beneficiary is from Columbia so not like high fraud country or anything.

Tick Tock.

Sticking with Mid to Late January approval for us if CSC starts to approve cases again.
