Watching Star Wars Rogue One with the kids tonight to get my mind off this.

Have a safe day there.

Do we have any news on the November filers? I am getting disheartened. I just wish we get a feedback before the year ends!

By the way, if we get an RFE, do we also get notified via SMS and email?

Hello BiggieHuggie, I think I need one of those a big hug...LOL

6 weeks and no NOA 2.

I would like to think we would hear something by end of year but now I'm not really counting on it.

There are over 330 cases received by USCIS on 10/31 and they have only approve about 15 of those.

One or 2 approvals in the last week from that batch. I've done this whole process before and never saw them at this snails pace.

It's as if they have said never mind the K-1's and lets focus on something else.

Years ago it was 90 day average for NOA 2 so they may be going back to that starting with our lucky November NOA 1's

Cases received by USCIS CSC on 10/28 have had just about as many approvals as RFE's 42 Approvals to 39 RFE's

This tells us CSC is moving super slow and when they do move they issue RFE's in 49% of the cases.

I'm thinking instructions came down from above to slow the process or to look for something to issue RFE's that they were not looking at before.

You should get email notified on any case action of that nature but I would check your case on-line or phone app at least every other day.

Hang on

Jim

Sigh...I haven't heard of anything and they say the website is under maintenance today.

All I'm thinking is that they have a quota per year and they've already reached it that's why they're being so lax with their approvals lately.

Anyway, going to take my mind off this waiting game for now and concentrate on the upcoming holidays.

Cheers everyone!

Hello Isabelleyri,

Where in the Philippines is your partner from?

Mine is Negros Island.

The good news is there is no quota for Fiance(e) or Spousal Visa's it all has to do with their staffing levels and work load.

I thought of something a few minutes ago though.

I think CSC may have been instructed to work a certain type of case for some reason and K-1's are being set aside for the time being

Earlier this year in April it was taking 2.5 months on average.

October was about 30 days we may be headed back to 2 plus months now I'm on week 6.

I am an 11/30 NOA1. I don't expect anything before January. I don't want us to get our hopes up too much.

Well the good thing, maybe, is that right now NVC is about 3 weeks or more to work the K-1's it used to by 7-10 days for them.

So maybe when CSC gets around to approving our I-129F's then NVC time frame may be reduced.

Will see.

I remember watching this video from when I went through this whole process last year.

Beginning starts by saying I-129F approvals from USCIS can take 5 to 6 months yes 5 to 6 months.

Actually the USCIS website timeframe still says this.

They will always be ahead of schedule LOL

Great video below - set aside an hour

I wonder why the current processing times listed on VJ keep moving if it seems really that USCIS aren't moving and they are actually behind the current processing times (CSC NOA1's dated Nov 4 per VJ) that are stated on the site here. Is that number based on people inputing in their timelines or what is that date based off of?

Yes visa journey timeline estimates are strictly based off of what other member input and only as accurate as the data they provide.

Again tonight there has been zero approvals here on VJ.

I will check the app in a few minutes but seems like CSC has come to a near halt on I-129F's appears as if a few cases that were on the employee's desk were cleared out earlier this month and now nothing.

Hang on is all we can do.
