Hopefully they will be able to complete all the October filers this December. :clock:

All I'm thinking is that most of them are on vacation leave. That's what's happening where I'm working now. Lol.

I think when I looked earlier there were like 5 RFE's issued today for the 10/31 received.

So 1 approved and 5 RFE. Well I guess at least someone is working in California. Just not in the direction I would have hoped.

Hey Jim and everyone,

Thanks for reaching out Jim. Its so nice to find a group of people who are not only going through the same process, but who have similar timelines. So cool to have the support!

My Fiance is from Kenya and I am from California. We received our NOA1 on November 3rd, and still waiting (not very patiently haha) for our NOA2. Our's is at the California service center.

Really hoping that what you posted about not getting approvals until Jan is not true :( . I havent seen my fiance since March and I cant wait any longer! Positive vibes!!

Wishing everyone the best of luck!

Hey welcome to the forum . Thread.

Things have been super slow lately just hoping they pick up at USCIS in Cali.

Anything can happen but there are over 350 cases for Oct 31 alone and they have only approved about 14 of them. The next stage is NVC and that can take 21-30 days lately.

I'm just hoping that once we all get our NOA 2 the wait at NVC is speeded up.

Well holidays coming to help pass the time but you are right better to be together. March is a long time for you wow.

Good thing for Skype , Face time etc.

Any questions just post them here and someone should know the answer except when exactly will you get your NOA 2..haha

Hi everyone. I am new here. My fiance lives in the Philippines. Our NOA1 is dated 11/30. It was filed in Texas Service Center but was since moved to California. My lawyer tells me the process is running slower lately because of many filers from Central America creating a backlog. Maybe it's because of the election.

seems like filing in October-December is not a good idea. Lol seeing other filers when they file earlier this year, most of them got approved within 20-48 days.

Hello welcome to the forum - thread.

You case was actually not an official transfer and was never at Texas Service Center.

It went to the Texas lock -box or mail drop where many forms are required to be sent.

USCIS then goes through the mail and sends the petition to it's proper location and in the case of K-1 that is currently CSC.

Anyway there is another forum member (Oct/Nov) who I believe has fiancee from PI and the petitioner is in FL as well. something "Cove" I forget the exact city LOL.

Approvals were taking 25-35 days but now they are looking more like 40 range then there is another extended wait at NVC 3-4 weeks (hoping this changes again soon)

Any questions ask away.

Jim

This link should help you alot.

It's a few years old so you do need to verify some info and wait times have changed for example when it was created NOA 2 was taking 2-3 MONTHS.
