Can anyone who got an RFE share what it is? That is if it is okay. Just curious how come there are a lot. It's good to know that they are working on the cases. However, just really curious why the RFE's.

Thank you! ??????????

There are some Nov 28 approvals on the master list, one approved on Dec 19 and one approved today that's not showing up on the breakdown.  Also a Nov 25 approved yesterday.  I won't keep scrolling back.

Don't know if you're aware of those or not, Geo.

Yeah, I saw those as well and thought they were 11/28. However, they were previously marked as 11/23 so that's why it's still counted as an 11/23 in the spreadsheet. Let me investigate the histories...

Weird...the number order of the files would suggest Nov 28.

I am thinking they cherry pick the easy files first, so you end up seeing less RFEs. Then they grab the harder ones, and the approval/RFE percentage drops.

That seems about right.

Yup...the data is right. I don't know why, but those cases were actually marked as being received on 11/16 and 11/17! Their case numbers are just clumped in with the 11/28s. USCIS...smh

Edit: Maybe they lost these applications and then put them in later, but counted them on the correct dates?

Does the RFE seem higher than other months? Did a lot of people rush to file after the election result, and didn't get it fully right, so that we see higher RFEs than normal?

I don't know why USCIS gave them case numbers that late, but from USCIS' data, they were 11/16 and 11/17 cases. Maybe they entered the wrong info into the computer system? Or they lost the petitions and fixed it later? I can't really tell, but USCIS says they received those cases on 11/16 and 11/17 for some reason.

Yeah, hard to know what happened.  Thanks for looking into it, Geo.  I was hoping some Nov 28 cases had been touched.  Wishful thinking. ;)
