The adjudicators are audited once a month. That is why you sometimes see cases approved and then rejected. Fresher adjudicators (employed under one year) tend to send out more RFE's than the veterans. Audits penalize adjudicators on inaccuracy and doubles (those requiring supervisor approval) so it better to send out an RFE than be penalized. Anyone with a criminal history, multiple k1 petitions, and more than three hits on any of the databases checked require a supervisor and manager approval to approve the case. The workers are graded on how many are worked based on the number of people reviewed so they like working cases with families or kids because they get more points for the day that way and can therefore take their time on some of the harder cases. Stats on all the teams and members are sent out once a week and once a month.

Remember adjudicators only job is to detect fraud. They will and can request any relevant information they feel helps the petition meets the criteria for not being fraudulent. I hope this helps in some way.

Thanks for the valuable info. But what "databases" are you referring to?

Snow storm is bad here, NY, think that would be a winter shock for one coming from Philipines at this time.

Very true. We got 10-12" here in northeast PA. My fiance and I went to Hokkaido, Japan in November and she saw her first snowfall...and experienced the first concept of being "actually cold" at only -6C at night. :jest:

On the plus side with all the RFEs, it looks like they only add ~3 weeks to the entire process. Most of the time is getting the RFE and sending it back (~2 weeks from RFE status to Response to RFE received status). Once received, most RFEs tend to be adjudicated within a week or so. See the detailed case tracking below.

Wonder if there is a way to find out whats all those RFE,s are for? Or possibly people posting it on separate trend, ( someone should open one ) For others to get familiar with it and help to avoid it. Following for finance application was important to me and personally did everything to avoid any mistakes in that process, surely others also did so but failed.Wish could be avoided, RFE doesn't seem to be a big deal, but it dos slows down the whole process for one who gets it and for others.

Thanks for the valuable info. But what "databases" are you referring to?

I am unable to name them all, due to many of them not being publically known, but several FBI databases, NSA, and State Department databases are accessed.

It was just a wish, no way to find out. But opened an  RFE post, hopefully, people start posting some off their personal RFE,s  so others could avoid it and find post before sending unsure paperwork for processing
