We sent in our petition 81 days ago.  The CSC got very backed up in November and December.  They have been working faster now, so my fiancé and I are hoping to have our NOA2 by the end of February or March.  Your lawyer is right; all we can do is wait. :)  Hopefully we will all get approved soon.

Really so when do you think we will get approvals and I heard CSC process very quickly I'm thinking to in feb or march but on my uscis app it says there on August 2016 applications unless I'm reading wrong I'm so crazy lol and confused so New to this ?

That's just what it says on their website.  If you call them they will tell you the same thing -- they are processing August 2016 petitions.  They are probably still processing a few petitions from August, and there are also some petitions from October that haven't been processed yet.  However, they are focusing most of their attention on November cases.

Yeah I just meant no one left on this thread or October thread still waiting.

There were 11 NOA 2's issued tonight for 10/31 of course not mine.

Jim

Got you. Ironic the one person, you, who deserves it the most with your always kind and uplifting spirit is the one having to wait the longest now. Would say "good things come to those who wait" but it's just not enough considering your long wait.

April 22, 2020 - I-751 sent

April 23, 2020 - I-751 received at Lockbox

April 29, 2020 - Check cashed

Nobody can say for certain. Maybe the guy that grabbed the earlier applications is out of the office or was put on something else? Maybe the background checks are taking longer on those few, maybe it's an internal auditing practice slowing them down, or maybe it's just dumb luck. It's just speculation at this point.

They don't update the website very often, and the method they use to determine it isn't particularly great. It's probably mostly just to tell people not to worry if your case after that period, which isn't wrong...it's just not particularly helpful.

That's just the government covering their behinds, so to speak. If you notice, it also says they are workign on applications from August and that data is "as of November 30th", which is a long time ago. If you have an iPhone (there are android apps as well), you can download the Case Tracker App and there is a search function on there (which you can find using the magnifying glass in the bottom bar of icons within the app) that some members here are using to essentially track huge numbers of applications. Geowrian posts nightly information here on this forum, which you can see very recently if you scroll back a bit, that shows the number of applications from end-October through Nov being processed, posting around 830-900 PST every night. If you want to track the applications just on Nov 14, vogann very nicely posts them nightly at sites.google.com/view/nov14, also around 8 PST.

They are not, generally speaking, working on August applications anymore, though there is the odd outlier. If you want more information on the tracking history, scroll back through the many, many pages of this forum and you will find the answer. Ignore the government website's timing estimates, largely.
