Question for those of you who were recently approved: If you met online, did you include the terms of service of the website?  I have been reading lately that a lot of people have been getting RFE's and have had to prove that the website was not an International Marriage Broker.  We checked "no" in the box on the form, but we didn't even think about sending in the terms of service.  Did all of you send in evidence that the website was not an IMB?  Trying to be mentally prepared in case we get an RFE.

Congratulations to everyone who was just approved!  It's so fun to watch everyone progressing!!!

For us, we did attach a letter coming from the site where we met stating that it was not IMB. I think it depends on which website you used if it was a dating site or something. Just in case though (which i hope won't happen to you). there is not harm in covering all your bases and get the policy of that site stating it is not an IMB. :)

Yeah, we are all prepared in case it happens.  I thought we might be okay because my fiancé is from Canada, but lately I read that someone from the UK got an RFE and had to send in the terms of service.  Good to hear that @vogann didn't have to.  Crossing my fingers that it won't be a problem for anyone in our November group.

Okay, that makes me feel better.  We listed the website and sent several pages of messages (including our first messages) as proof.

If you said you met on-line then you should be providing TOS.

If you did not meet on-line then no need for TOS and ok to check NO.

Having said that some case workers will send RFE and others won't for same issue.

If you get RFE at least you know your case is being worked.

Not lost or forgotten like mine...LOL
