113 days, but who's counting?

I assumed the worst, thinking I'd be waiting till the end of the year for this, or that my case fell behind a shelf.

But today my case was finally approved!! (technically on February 7th) :jest:

It was already a great day, I spent it at a secluded beach near Da Nang, Vietnam, with my fiancée. And then, it was an even better end to the day, by checking my phone and *boom* I get the notification with her sitting right by my side <3 :D

All I can say is just hold tight, good news is on the way for others waiting.

I have a really good feeling Jim's case will be approved this week B-)

Yoo congratulations. I'm so happy for you :)

Jim, would he stay there until she has her interview and then gets her visa in hand (which could take months) or once the interview is complete, they tell her right away she's approved and she can go to the US right after the interview?  I'm confused.

Normally in the US Embassy at Manila they tell you approved or they will just say. Go home and wait for your Visa.

This can take 7-10 days normally. If there are other issues they normally tell them at the time of the interview that further info from petitioner is needed or that the embassy needs to do more research.

I don't think they will be waiting more than the 7-10 days to have visa in hand after interview then off to USA when ever they are ready.

Again. Not sure of his travel plans.

But no, know one gets to go to USA the day after the interview. They need time to print and deliver or schedule for pick-up the Visa itself which is affixed to the passport itself.

Okay, thanks.  I wasn't sure how someone could wait for their fiance's visa and then come home with them at the same time.
