I don't recall if you are staying until she is approved and fly back with you.

Assuming you come home before that consider bringing some of her things with you or at least stock up on some dry food goods that will be cheaper in PI then where you live.

I guess there would be slight risk involved in doing that if her visa is delayed for long period. 

When ever I'm there I always bring home a luggage of food from SM or Robinson's grocery.

Ton's of Filipino's and Asian Grocery out here in Seattle.

Not sure about the area in Atlanta where you live

Jim, would he stay there until she has her interview and then gets her visa in hand (which could take months) or once the interview is complete, they tell her right away she's approved and she can go to the US right after the interview?  I'm confused.

I assumed the worst, thinking I'd be waiting till the end of the year for this, or that my case fell behind a shelf.

But today my case was finally approved!! (technically on February 7th) 

It was already a great day, I spent it at a secluded beach near Da Nang, Vietnam, with my fiancée. And then, it was an even better end to the day, by checking my phone and *boom* I get the notification with her sitting right by my side <3 

 

All I can say is just hold tight, good news is on the way for others waiting.

Also - I've noticed off and on on this thread that there are a few scattered folks who are in the UK and will be going through the London embassy for all the next steps. I know someone put the link in here a while back - but just in case someone else needs it and hasn't seen it, we've revived the thread for London K-1 specifically so we can all chat back and forth there! (Again with the puppy comment! Not sure why that's the one that shows up!!)

If you were to see geowrian's K-1 Visa Status Updates, his spreadsheet uses the receive date.  In your case November 21, 2016.

Thank you.  Yes I look at geowrian's (he's awesome and a godsend for posting statistics)  updates and I use the received date of 21st Nov for that as I know that's what USCIS uses.  I  just hadn't realized until last night that VJ doesn't use the same date. Thank you for your help.

Very early update.

As of 3:20pm PST (CSC time) there is 1 RFE for 10/31 receipt date. Yesterday at this time there were 3 for that day.

 

Hope we have another triple digits on GEO's report tonight.
