142 approved cases! Super holy guacamole! Although my case # is far away. This is really good news!!  I'm on 75XXX cases ?

We're right behind you in 81XXX cases.  (For some reason, it jumps almost directly from 75XXX to 81XXX.)  It's good to see movement on earlier cases!  Even though we have a ways to go, it feels like they are making a lot of progress.

Thank you to all the people on Visa Journey that helped answer our questions and making this wait more tolerable with your humor and kindness!  It helped knowing there are people out there going through the same journey, and understand you.

Special thanks to @JimJesDuma for starting this November 2016 thread.  And huge thanks to @geowrian for your efforts everyday posting those updates.  It gave me something to look forward to reading every night I got home from work!

Good luck to everyone waiting and for everyone in the future!

Here's a little picture of my fiance and I at a friends wedding.  Soon it will be our wedding!

Yup just what we thought doesn't make me feel better at all LOL..Our loved ones could all be with us now if it wasn't for this #######.

EDIT: Funny how I typed..C.R.A.P. and VJ censored it to make it seem like something much worse. :P

Jim

Jim,

I somehow feel better knowing that we were at least partially right about why it was taking so long.  But somehow I'm not impressed by their grief of having to spend $2000 to go see their loved ones.  I'm like, "yeah, and?".  Meanwhile we are all waiting to spend said $2000 to see our loved ones!  At they got a chance to go.

I can't believe you are not approved yet!!!

Fingers crossed for everyone!

Cheers,

Message_1486423040234.jpgHello everyone! Congratulations to everyone that has received their NOA2! I  don't usually say much of anything on here besides congratulations to those who received their approval. Sorry, I've just been kind of down about the slothful process. I  know there are many before me who are  waiting for such an extensive period of time, therefore I don't complain and I just patiently wait. Best wishes to all in this group.

However ,  I'm not sure if I put the correct date for the NOA1 on my timeline. I had it as 21st of November which is the date that USCIS has as my RECEIVED date.  But then I changed it to 25th of November because that is the date of the notice.  I'm confused as to which date is correct for VJ and I don't want to mess up the statistics for this. Help anyone?

November 25th 2016 is the correct date. That is the Notice of Action 1 (NOA1) date.

As someone already noted, your NOA1 date is indeed November 25, 2016.

If you were to see geowrian's K-1 Visa Status Updates, his spreadsheet uses the receive date.  In your case November 21, 2016.
Here's a link to geowrian's latest update: https://drive.google.com/open?id=0B8es4j04tzi2VndqazFveTlvTTg

Hope this helps!
