Just to be sure... and maybe I should have asked this earlier but... This stats are for cases RECEIVED on Nov. 14th, right?

I mean, my NOA1 hardcopy RECEIPT date is 11/16, but when I check my case status on USCIS.com says that they received my petition on 11/14.

Hope I'm checking the right stats  It's a little confusing

It totally is confusing! I've attached a photo here of my NOA-1 with the pertinent dates. You can see that my "Received Date" is 11/14, while the "Notice Date" (which is the NOA-1 date) is 11/16. :D The USCIS app and website track based on receipt date, not by date listed as the "Notice" Date or NOA-1 date.

Which ultimately means that we are 1-3 days off from our real noa1 dates.. but who cares.. we all track our cases by the receipt date from the website.

I picked Nov.14 instead of Nov. 15/16 b/c there were alot more cases with reciept date for Nov.14th

The date to use in VJ for your timeline is the "Notice Date". The date USCIS shows on their website is the receipt date (albeit I've seen it differ by a day or 2 from their NOA1's receipt date for some people).

@vogann Ok, I understood the difference between received and notice date. But my question is if the stats you post every day (https://sites.google.com/view/nov14/latest-reports) are the ones I should be checking?? My received date is 11/14 and my notice date is 11/16.

Am I part of those 306 unprocessed cases since my received date is 11/14?

Omg, all this waiting is driving me crazy. Sorry if I'm being annoying :(

You're likely one of those 306 unprocessed cases if you case # falls within this range:

Hello all!

I was listening to this on the way to work today: https://www.thisamericanlife.org/radio-archives/episode/608/the-revolution-starts-at-noon

Listen to Act II (start at min ~16:16 or so) to get a glimpse of what was happening with USCIS and the service centers during December 2016 (and why we were delayed).  They say that DACA requests increased 4x normal after Trump got elected.  It probably won't make you feel better, but I found it interesting and a little more informative to hear what the effects were for others.

Hope you like it!

Cheers,

Forena

Yup just what we thought doesn't make me feel better at all LOL..Our loved ones could all be with us now if it wasn't for this #######.

EDIT: Funny how I typed..C.R.A.P. and VJ censored it to make it seem like something much worse. :P
