Not sure...I've seen a handful of them over the past week, which is more than I was used to seeing. Hopefully nobody here.

yeah not for the fee as that would be reject same with wrong form.

Maybe reject as never met in person but tried to get waiver or something.

Yes, I would not take that chance, first thing I want to know is make sure she's not a man !

I know what you mean. I have several clearances myself, and have background checks (including FBI) done on me at least once a year already as a nature of my work. I'm assuming this would make the background check simple, but it is what it is.

Yup...

Heyy I got my  NOA2 paper copy today too!!! Now we wait a few days and hope NVC has our case number soon! :)

Everyone says  to call after few days, but on the paper copy it states  to wait for them to send us a notification that they receive it and give us new number. What will you do ?

wonder why someone would get denied?? maybe except not paying correct fee.

Probably because the couple were already married and filed incorrectly wrong form, I read that in a thread or somewhere online or if an individual was not fully divorced. Other possible reasons come from their background checks.

Hey GUYS!!!! I was about to go to sleep just right now and I just checked my uscis app and we just got approved!!!! I am so happy!!!! I immediately texted my fiancee right away and she is elated with joy!!!! This has been a long three months!!! Praise the Lord!!! God is faithful!!! I thought Canadians should be quick approval.... lol. Anyways I just want to share you November filiers the good news!!!! Stay the course guys... you guys are definitely not far from approval.

@amye Thank you for letting me know that Montreal is the only consulate that allows k1 interviews. Since my fiancee is from Vancouver, Im guessing the only way is to book a hotel in Montreal for a couple of nights for her interview.

What are our next steps in the k1 process? Should I call NVC right away or wait a couple of days?

Thank you November guys for this forum!! I have been following this thread for a while and knowing that you guys are here with me!!! Me and my fiancee are just so happy!!!

Yeah, I'm in Van too.  It's really too bad they closed the Van office to interviews in April '16. :(

We will all have to make a trip to Montreal.

Feel bad, it is strange why they would do that.
