Currently, I keep it on the list. I've seen a small handful of cases where an approved application is later updated (withdrawn or revoked), so I decided not to push the tail further up. I also like the idea of having the same data domain over a period of time. But yes, I've certainly considered dropping the approvals and rotating the new ones on there. There just hasn't been any kind of significant movement past 11/15, let alone 12/1, to actually get a benefit out of replacing the old cases with some new ones. This will likely change as we get closer to Dec. cases being processed.

Thanks Geo, that's useful to know and it sounds like the best way to be operating. Statistical analysis is a big part of what I do for a job, so this kind of thing is really interesting to me. Even though my case is waaaaaay down the line and untouched by the nightly scan, it's interesting to see the numbers come in each night and go through the list.

I just got a reply from Mel2016, another Philippine K-1 through CSC.

Appears as if they have been waiting near 140 days now almost 5 months and ZERO activity since NOA 1

I've messaged them to get more info to see  what the reason might be.

This is just terrible for them Sept 12th filers.

I don't think they had an RFE either but I'm looking into it.

Yup, that's what I'm seeing as well. Most cases are taking 80-90 (or so) days right now. Obviously,there's quite a few taking longer (poor Jim!), but others are taking ~70 days too.

my Receipt date is November 17 but my notice date is November 22nd. hmmm i don't to get my hopes up that i'll get approve by this month. There still a lot of cases out there that haven't touch yet.

I was absent during the weekend because it was my birthday, and my friends took me out to distract me from all the visa stress. Sure, at least our case was touched and RFEed last week, but still. 

Being back, it's nice to see so many approvals - congratulations to all of you guys! I'm always very happy when I see approvals on here or the app. 

Now, my fingers and toes and whatever not are crossed for JimJesDuma and Geowrian. Jim, you have been waiting for so long now, and you have been such an inspiration for so many people, not only in this thread, but also in others. Out of all of us, I guess, you would deserve your NOA2 the most - especially because it would be a much more relaxing flight over there. And Geowrian, what you have been doing is just huge and so useful for all of us here. Thank you so much, and I hope everything goes fast, smooth, and well for you, too. 

Of course, I also hope that everybody else gets to see movement on their cases; we all know what it feels like to be waiting and up in the air with no information as to when the wait will be over at all. Lots of courage and energy - and PATIENCE to all of us. Here's to another week of busy USCIS adjudicators. May they keep working our cases at an ever greater speed.

Our received date is the 21st and our notice date is the 25th.  I know the app uses the received date, but I'm a little confused about whether the CSC uses the received date or the notice date.  When things were moving really slowly at the beginning of January, we decided that we would hope for our NOA2 by the end of March.  I've seen a lot of posts lately projecting that most November filers will be done by the end of February -- we would love that, but we also know that it could be a few months away.

 

We had a bit of a scare tonight, as my fiancé had to go to the emergency room.  He has been discharged and the doctors think he will be okay, but for several hours, I was in absolute anguish worried about him.  In some ways, this scare made the distance even harder.  In other ways, it reminded me that it is easy to get distracted by visas and paperwork and checking the nightly case status updates, but at the heart of it, this process is about two people who love each other.  I am thankful for my fiancé, and I am thankful to have met other couples on this forum who are living the same love story.  Thanks for all of your support in this process, everyone.

Sorry about your fiance's situation. Hope he will get better soon. Is it possible for you to come to visit him? At least Canada is still near America. By the way we have a facebook group for November filers, did you join us? The link is under my signature
