oh okay i see. i understand.. however, when i submitted my I-129F there's a question there asking if your fiancee has ever been into the U.S and if you say yes you need to put some information below. i guess i didn't understand that question because i put No. i should've put yes right?

Pull up a blank copy of form I-129f . I did yesterday and it ask if your fiance is "currently or presently" in the US then to provide info. So i think you are ok there. Go ch check the form to confirm.

I wonder what's going on with them... huwaaaaa... :(

I'm probably wrong but thinking USCIS could have been requested to finish up any October cases before shipping any to NVC so that NVC can catch up. Last year it was about 7-10 days for NVC to get case from USCIS.

Jim

And Advanced maligayang pasko to you both.

question about W-2. do you need to include the filed paper you sent to the IRS? i read that if you're submitting W-2 you also need to include the paper you filed to IRS. since it's december and W-2 are coming in January. i'm not sure if i should wait and use 2016 W-2 or my 2015.

You do NOT need to include the filed copy if you don't have them but to replace that you should provide the last 3 years of return transcripts which you can order for FREE here.

https://www.irs.gov/individuals/get-transcript?_ga=1.200527854.1103885181.1478853718

You should also provide last 3 year of W-2's or F1099's to show income for those years.

No need to wait for 2016 W-2's or returns unless you think your 2015 income was not enough to meet the guidelines.

Hello everyone, I sent my packet 11/21 received 11/23 still nothing :/ Lewiston lockbox

Welcome aboard.

Did you fill out the form to receive an email/text?

Either way you can check to see if your check has been cashed.

Until about two weeks ago electronic confirmation of acceptance was taking about 4-5 businesses days from delivery in Texas. But that seems to have slowed down as has everything else since around thanksgiving week.

I saw that at least one forum member sent their petition on the 18th and check was cashed on the 28th. But they had yet to receive confirmation electronically.

Given the slow down from holidays I would not worry about the time at this stage. Your paperwork was received the day before thanksgiving. You should hear something soon.
