Nope not a peep.

We have been waiting over 90 days.

Good news is after ANOTHER 90 days we can finally call  USCIS to have them tell us they will look into it "don't call us, We'll call you" LOL

Not sure if this is the right place to ask! But if my fiancé the petitioner was to start a new job before our approval (noa2) is there a process to follow? or any complications? When it gets to embassy interview stage?

Thanks in advance :)

Nothing to do.

He will be required to fill out I-134 affidavit of support he can list his new employer info there and send it to you for the interview. People change jobs all the time so no big deal.

If he moves his home location / address then he needs to call USCIS and tell them. They can update that part.

I was not under the impression that I-134 information was needed for Embassy interview...that it was more related to AOS after entry to the US.

It depends on the embassy. Some require an I-134, some don't. The I-134 can have anybody with US domicile be a sponsor, and only needs to meet 100% of the federal poverty guidelines (not 125% like AOS). It's also not a legally binding affidavit.

The I-864 is the one you file for AOS, and must be filed by the sponsor even if they don't meet the minimum guidelines. This is legally binding.

I think if the fiance has enough savings, this savings can be used as enough funding to satisfy K-1 visa requirement. In this case, I-134 is not really necessary.

This is different from I-864 during AOS, which is needed anyway.

Hmmm. Maybe I should hurry up and get my taxes finished this month.

Hi Ray,

As long as the interview takes place before April 17th (15 is a Saturday this year) then the USCIS could not require anyone to have the 2016 tax return.

My response to the other poster was for them as they are not Manila Embassy.

US Embassy in Manila has not asked for I-134 in years.

Having said that. I'm leaving nothing to chance especially after what I've endured here so it will be filled out and given to her for interview. Just in case.

If you have 2015 done then I would not rush anything beside only W-2s are required unless self employed then I believe they need Income Tax returns.

Transcripts can be obtained here for free.

As others have mentioned it can be used for AIS- I-864 so good to have them all around
