It just seems like some progress, is all.

Can anybody here give me any info on how long is a k1 visa valid for (before entry)? Like after approval and having it in your passport. How long do they give you before you fly to the US? Is it valid for just a couple of months or a year? Thank you ?

  1. A K-1 visa is valid for six months from the date of the medical or the date of issuance, whichever comes earlier
  2. An immigrant / K-1 visa is valid for a maximum of six months
