By unapproved do you guys mean denied cases? Or just not approved yet?

Hi again Nina,

You may want to update your Visa Journey Time Line:

K1 Visa Event Date Service Center : Texas Service Center Transferred? No Consulate : Armenia I-129F Sent : 2016-11-15 I-129F NOA1 : 2016-11-19

Your Service Center should be "California" CSC

It is not considered a transfer - Texas is just a mail stop for many immigration forms.

Also you should be able to update your Consulate.

NOA 1 should be the date on your hard copy upper right hand corner.

This information above help the VJ timeline estimates stay more accurate.

Welcome again to the November threat and to the VJ Forum.

Jim

Hello,

My Fiance used to work in guam last year from June 2015 - Feb 2016. as of obtaining police certificate bcoz she lived there for 8 months. According to this website

https://travel.state..._documents.html

if you can't search the country in the guidelines, you do not need to obtain a police certificate.

"

For country-specific guidelines on how to obtain a police certificate, review the Country Documents section at Reciprocity by Country.

Unobtainable police certificates

If your police certificate is unavailable per the country-specific guidelines above, you do not need to submit one to the NVC. If you cannot obtain a police certificate for another reason, please submit a written explanation when you submit your other documents.

i'm just need clarification regarding this matter.

No, I have an iphone and therefore no experience with android. I was just curious :)

I use the iphone app search function to look up K1-petitions filed around the same date as ours as well, but the obnoxious part is that they lock you out for a couple of hours or days if you overdo it (and I am a bit obsessive sometimes  ).

Well, let's hope NOA2s for November filers will start coming this week. On a personal note, I would go back to Europe a lot calmer on Jan 9 if I already had NOA2 in hand... And on yet another note, I know government employees (not USCIS, but still) who are, contrary to common belief, everything but lazy regarding their job, so hopefully, our petitions are in such hands as well. Best of luck to everyone!

Guam is a territory of the United States it is not it's own country.

She "may" need a police certificate from USA.

You will have to do more research.

I would see what steps it takes to get a USA police certificate for USA and submit that otherwise your fiance may risk a delay at embassy.

https://www.wikiprocedure.com/index.php/Guam_-_Obtain_Police_Clearance_Certificate_(PCC,_Court_Record_Clearance)- states nothing issued without subpoena. So I doubt you will get anything from guam.

I agree plenty of good civil servants out there.

Yes you will have it by Jan 9th no doubt.

Maybe even Dec 9th.

haha.good to know I'm not the only obsessive one.

My GF is complaining I'm spending too much time on this board and not enough talking to her. (edit: she is voicing her displeasure) LOL

I think she is right.

I'm over thinking this LOL

Ok I retract my last statement about her needing clearance from USA. They will automatically do the clearance check for USA.

They only need it for other countries and since Guam is part of USA then nothing should be needed further.

Part of the NVC process will be a FBI data base check.

You will just want to mention somewhere that your fiancee was in Guam at some point.

Hi Jim,

Yes, thanks for keeping track of all these timelines. It helps us all.

Small correction on my Timeline (Forena99). I went back and updated it.

My NOA1 received date on the hard copy actually says 11/04/16.

I changed it about a week ago from the 8th, which is when I got the text.

Looks like you should be getting your notice this week! Or in the next few days!

Hope all goes well,

No need to bring it up unless they ask. I do not recall if there is a question about past trips to USA territories or otherwise on the DS-160.

I looked at I-129F and it just ask to give info if she is currently in USA.

The link you provided where you search for countries that need clearance you said Guam did not come up well neither did USA or America so no requirement for clearance per the instructions as both places do not populate on the website link.

Oh hey Nico22 look what I found.

Scan and you will there is infact a questiona about last time in USA.

I would put the guam info there.

http://www.***removed***/visas/sample-ds-160-form-us-visa-application.pdf

Glad you are thinking ahead of the game as some of the requirements can take time to get especially if there are problems.

Jim

Hmmm. not sure why link says "removed" must be an immigration help site so blocked here on VJ.

Try this.

i don't see the question about last time in the USA.

i was checking the DS-160 form and i saw these questions

Have you ever been in the U.S.? NO - since yes was in guam should she put Yes here or is the question is if she been into the mainland?

Have you ever been issued a U.S. visa? NO - she worked in guam and had B1 visa in hand

Have you ever been refused a U.S. Visa, been

refused admission to the United States, or

withdrawn your application for admission at the

point of entry?

NO

i just don't want any problems by the time of the interview.
